Moderne is a shape-led melamine program rather than a color one: 15 shapes, each made in white and in black, for 30 items in total. The line is built from two ideas that most dinnerware ranges do not carry at all — a family of triangle plates and bowls, and a set of rectangular pan plates with a handle on one end. Nothing in the collection is round except the dessert plates, so a table set with Moderne looks deliberate from across the room without any decoration on the surface.
What's in the 30-piece Moderne line
- Flat triangle plates — 6", 8", 10-1/2" and 12"
- Deep triangle plates and bowls — 6" at 12 oz, 9" at 36 oz and 11" at 60 oz
- Triangle bowls — 4" at 8 oz and 5-1/2" at 16 oz

Every one of those fifteen is stocked twice, once in white and once with a BK suffix in black, so the two colors can be run as separate services or paired course by course.
The triangles: flat, deep, and the step between them
The four flat triangles are presentation plates. The MO-106 (6") takes an amuse or a single piece; the MO-108 (8") and MO-110 (10-1/2") handle appetizers and lighter mains; the MO-112 (12") is the entrée size. Each has a black twin, including the MO-112BK.
The deep triangles are where the line stops being decorative. A MO-211 (11", 60 oz) holds more than most 11" pasta bowls because the corners add volume a circle of the same diameter does not have; the MO-209 (9", 36 oz) and MO-206 (6", 12 oz) follow the same logic downward. Below those, the MO-306 triangle bowl (5-1/2", 16 oz) and MO-304 (4", 8 oz) take sides, dips and desserts — and the 5-1/2" bowl actually holds more than the 6" deep plate, which is worth checking before you specify.
Pan plates with handle
The four pan plates are the other half of the line: rectangular dishes with a handle on one short end. The handle is not decoration — it gives a server somewhere to grip a loaded dish and lets the plate be set down and repositioned without a hand crossing the food. Sizes are the MO-810 (12" x 8"), the long MO-808 (14-1/2" x 6-1/2") and MO-809 (15-1/2" x 7-1/2") for boards and grazing plates, and the widest, the MO-811 (14" x 10"), for shared mains. All four come in black as well, including the MO-810BK and MO-811BK.
