A stock pot range, also called a stock pot stove or candy stove, is a high-BTU gas burner built to handle the heaviest pots and the longest cook times in a commercial kitchen. These are not your standard range burners. Stock pot ranges deliver 80,000 to 100,000+ BTU per burner through heavy-duty cast iron three-ring burner systems, giving you the heat output needed to boil large volumes of water quickly, simmer stocks and broths for hours, and cook down curries, dal, soups, sauces, and gravies in oversized vessels. In Indian restaurant kitchens, they are essential for cooking biryani, nihari, haleem, large batch curries, and making sweets in big kadais and patilas.

We carry stock pot ranges from Atosa, American Range, Imperial, and Globe in single and double burner configurations with both standard and low-profile heights.

The Atosa ATSP-18-1 is a single burner stock pot stove with 80,000 BTU at a standard 22" height, while the Atosa ATSP-18-1L delivers the same 80,000 BTU in a low-profile 18" height that makes it easier to lift heavy pots on and off. For kitchens that need two burners side by side, the Atosa ATSP-18-2L doubles the output to 160,000 BTU.

American Range ARSP series stock pot ranges are built heavier and deliver 90,000 BTU per burner with dual control valves for the inner and outer burner rings, giving you the ability to dial between high heat and a low simmer without swapping equipment. The American Range ARSP-18 is a single burner model, and the ARSP-18-2 adds a second burner for high-volume kitchens. For a more budget-friendly option, the American Range SPSH-18-2 offers economy-style construction with a low profile design. The Globe GSP18G rounds out the lineup at 100,000 BTU with a cool-to-touch front edge and one-piece cast iron grate.

Every stock pot range in this collection features stainless steel construction, cast iron burner grates for stable pot support, removable drip trays for easy cleanup, and adjustable legs. Pair them with our stock pots, brazier pots, and mixing paddles for a complete large-batch cooking station.
