At 10-1/2" x 9" the MO-110 crosses out of per-diner tableware and into service. Its long edge runs past ten inches, which under the house rule makes it a platter rather than a dinner piece, and the proportions bear that out: a one-inch rim and a wide flat field that holds a shared board of charcuterie, a half-dozen tapas, or sushi for two.

Set on a table between guests it gives each person a clear reach without anyone leaning. The triangle also nests into a corner setting where an oval of the same capacity would overhang. Matte white melamine keeps the whole thing light enough to pass hand to hand, and it comes out of a commercial dishwasher without the thermal shock risk of stoneware.
