Momo Steamers
Our commercial momo steamers are built for Nepali, Tibetan, and Indian restaurants, dumpling shops, food trucks, and catering operations that serve steamed momos, dim sum, dumplings, and other steamed dishes at volume. Each steamer is made from heavy-duty aluminum, works on any stove or burner without electricity, and comes with stackable perforated steamer pans that allow steam to circulate evenly around each dumpling for consistent results.
Available Sizes
We carry momo steamers in two sizes. The 11-inch momo steamer comes with 3 steamer pans and a 5-liter water pan, making it a good fit for smaller restaurants, home kitchens, and low-volume operations. The 14-inch momo steamer comes with 3 steamer pans and a larger 11-liter water pan, designed for high-volume restaurants and catering setups where you need to steam larger batches without refilling the water as often.
What You Can Steam
While these steamers are designed for momos, they work just as well for Chinese dim sum, Japanese gyoza, Vietnamese banh bao, and any other type of steamed dumpling. They can also be used to steam vegetables, fish, and other dishes that benefit from gentle, even steam cooking. For restaurants that serve both momos and other steamed items, a single momo steamer can handle multiple menu items throughout the day.
How a Momo Steamer Works
Fill the bottom water pan, place it on your stove or burner, and stack the perforated steamer pans on top. As the water heats up, steam rises through the perforations and cooks the momos from all sides evenly. Most momos take 10 to 15 minutes to steam depending on size and filling. The stackable design lets you cook multiple layers at once, and you can add or remove pans based on how much you need to produce.
