Lyon-Yellow puts the yellow glaze across the whole Lyon shape library — twenty-two china pieces, from a 7 oz coffee cup up to a 15" rectangular plate. Nothing here is exclusive to the color: the same twenty-two molds are produced in four other Lyon glazes, so the yellow works either as a service on its own or as one color inside a mixed tabletop.
Lyon-Yellow from smallest to largest
- Under 6 inches — LY-001YL cup 4" at 7 oz, LY-404YL triangle sauce bowl 4 3/4" at 5 oz, LY-503YL mug at 10 oz, LY-405YL small oval dish 5 1/2" at 5 oz, LY-106YL plate 5 3/4"
- 6 to 9 inches — LY-002YL saucer 6 1/2", LY-307YL soup/salad plate 7" at 15 oz, LY-407YL oval bowl 7" at 10 oz, LY-107YL plate 7 1/4", LY-1107YL coupe plate 7 1/4", LY-2108YL coupe platter 8" x 5 1/2", LY-109YL plate 8 3/4"
- 9 to 12 inches — LY-309YL pasta/salad plate 9" at 20 oz, LY-409YL oval bowl 9" at 20 oz, LY-2110YL coupe platter 10" x 7", LY-1110YL coupe plate 10 1/4", LY-110YL plate 10 1/2"
- 12 inches and over — LY-2112YL coupe platter 12" x 8 1/4", LY-1112YL coupe plate 12 1/4", LY-213YL rectangular plate 13", LY-2114YL coupe platter 14" x 10", LY-215YL rectangular plate 15"
Everything wet tops out at 20 ounces
Eight listings state a capacity and six of those are food service: 5 oz on the triangle sauce bowl and the small oval dish, 10 oz on the 7" oval bowl, 15 oz on the soup/salad plate, and 20 oz on both the 9" oval bowl and the pasta/salad plate. That is the entire liquid ladder in this pattern — nothing in Lyon-Yellow holds more than 20 oz. The remaining two are drinkware, a 7 oz cup and a 10 oz mug. If your menu runs to deep bowls above that mark, plan on a second pattern beside this one rather than expecting Lyon to cover it.

The rest of the catalog is on the full Yanco range page, and the main Lyon collection lists every color at once. Lyon-Blue pairs with the yellow when you want two colors separating courses or stations, and Lyon-Coral is the other warm glaze in the family. Tell us which courses you need covered and we will map them onto the twenty-two shapes: sales@nishienterprise.com or (732) 790-0199.
