Yanco LY-213YL Lyon-Yellow Chinaware 13" x 7-3/8" x 1-1/2" Rectangular Platter, Yellow — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Twelve rectangular platters in a case is the quantity that lets a buffet department set a line and still hold spares in the back, which is why this size is rarely bought singly. One case dresses a long table with a few kept for the turn, and a second case becomes necessary when a site runs two rooms at once.

Because the rectangular platter is cast identically in beige, blue, coral, turquoise and yellow, a department can add colour by the case instead of one at a time. Yellow is often brought in as the second case rather than the opening one, which keeps a neutral base and gives a stylist something to alternate along a line.
