Yanco LY-2114YL Lyon-Yellow Chinaware 14" x 10" x 1-1/4" Coupe Oval Platter, Yellow — Case of 12 (1 dz)

A dozen fourteen-inch oval platters is a large single purchase for an item that comes out for banquets, so buyers treat the case as a multi-year commitment and order it once. Replacement is then piecemeal and slow, which argues for picking a colourway that will still be in production in three years.

Lyon helps there by keeping all five colours running on the same casting. A yellow oval platter bought now sits beside a beige one bought later with no visible join, and a banquet department can widen its holding a case at a time without having to match a discontinued finish.
