Yanco LY-002YL Lyon-Yellow Chinaware 6-1/2" x 3/4" Saucer, Yellow — Case of 36 (3 dz)

The saucer ships thirty-six to a case, matching the Lyon tea cup exactly, which is the reason a service built from this line does not drift out of balance over a year. Saucers break at a different rate from cups in many rooms, and buying them in the same case size keeps the arithmetic simple when a manager counts what survived the quarter and orders the gap.

Because every Lyon colourway uses this same six-and-a-half-inch casting, a yellow case can sit under cups of another colour without reading as a substitution. Operations that want two tones on the table deliberately order the saucer in yellow and the cup elsewhere in the family.
