Yanco LY-110YL Lyon-Yellow Chinaware 10-1/2" x 1-5/8" Trapezoid Dinner Plate, Yellow — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Dinner plates come twelve to a case in Lyon, which is the unit a buyer actually reorders against. A single dozen is small enough to replace a bad week without leaving two dozen spares in a cupboard for a year, and large enough that a room short of covers does not need a special order to get going again.

Because the trapezoid casting is identical in all five Lyon colourways, a yellow case can be brought in to top up a beige or blue room and the dinner plate will still match in shape and height. Operations building a service from scratch count covers, divide by twelve, and add one case.
