Rockeye is Yanco's two-tone china: a white body with a brown rim treatment, carried across 68 items in this collection. Those 68 cover both generations of the pattern — 39 pieces stamped ROCKEYE and 29 stamped ROCKEYE-2 — so a kitchen that wants the whole two-tone table, flat and deep, can build it from one page. Plates, platters, bowls from 1.5 oz to 46 oz, sauce dishes, a spoon, a mug and a cup and saucer put it well past accent-line territory.

How the two Rockeye generations differ

The split is by shape, not by color. The original ROCKEYE stock numbers hold everything angular — the triangle plates, the rectangular plates, the rectangular display plates, the rectangular sauce dishes — along with the round coupe plates, the spoon, the tea cup and the saucer. The ROCKEYE-2 numbers are round and oval only. A couple of numbers straddle the two: the RO-001 cup is listed as ROCKEYE-2 while the RO-002 saucer that pairs with it is listed as ROCKEYE, and the RO-2706 and RO-2708 round bowls carry second-generation numbering with first-generation titling. Match by stock number, not by the generation name in the title.
