Yanco RO-2308 Rockeye-2 Chinaware 8" x 5-1/2" x 3/4" Oval Plate, White and Brown — Case of 36 (3 dz)

Eight inches end to end, 5-1/2 inches across, with a three-quarter inch wall: an oval plate at the size a kitchen uses for a two-bite starter, a pair of crostini, or a duo plated side by side. The oval outline does work a round cannot, because it lets two items sit in a line without either looking crowded against a curve.

This matches the geometry Rockeye wrote as a rectangular plate at the same eight-by-five-and-a-half footprint, so the two series can share a facet and a shelf label. The wall is shallow enough that it will not hold liquid, which keeps it on dry courses. Pebbled relief on the rim, smooth glazed well. Chinaware body, dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
