Paris is super white porcelain with a band of concentric rings cut into the rim, so the well stays flat and smooth and the pattern only shows from the edge. Twenty-seven items carry the PA prefix. What separates it from the other white lines here is the small ware: a creamer, a salt shaker, a pepper shaker, a handled bouillon cup and an ear-shaped bowl, none of which the other nine china patterns in this group carry.

A plated-service line, not a bowl line
The largest capacity anywhere in Paris is the 22 oz pasta bowl. There is no ramen bowl, no noodle bowl and nothing above a quart, which tells you what the pattern was drawn for: composed plates, rim soup, a side and a coffee. Rooms sending out large hot bowls will run out of Paris quickly and should look at a pattern with a deep bowl block instead.
Against that, the size ladder on the flat plates is unusually fine — five rimmed rounds and three coupes between 6 1/4" and 12", which is eight flat sizes in a 27-piece line. That is a lot of choice for a banquet room that plates an appetizer, a salad, an entree and a dessert on different diameters. The shakers and the creamer mean the table dressing matches the plate, which is the whole argument for buying a hotel pattern rather than assembling one. Listings rate the pieces oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.
