Eleven and three quarters by eight and a half, the middle oval of the three Paris platters. An inch and an eighth longer than the ten-and-five-eighths and a little over two inches shorter than the fourteen, which puts it where a banquet line usually lands: enough surface for a portioned main for two or three, not so much that a server needs both hands and a clear run to the table.

The shape suits food laid in a row. A whole roasted fish, six stuffed shells, a sliced loin with its jus pooled at one end. Turned rings follow the border and leave the well clear, so a sauce that spreads does not pick up a pattern edge. The body is chinaware, dishwasher rated and microwave rated.
