Yanco PA-110 Paris Chinaware 10-1/2" Plate, Bright White — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Ten and a half inches is the standard American dinner round, and this is Paris's version of it. The well takes a protein, a starch and a vegetable with white space left between them, which is what separates a plated entree from a loaded plate. Below that diameter a full dinner service starts to look cramped; above it the same portion starts to look thin.

The flange is turned with the collection's concentric rings and left wide enough to carry hot. Set against the nine-inch round in the same collection, this one adds an inch and a half of diameter and roughly a third again as much usable surface, which is the difference between a lunch cover and a dinner cover. Chinaware throughout, machine washable and good in a microwave.
