Thirty ounces in a nine-inch bowl with a one-and-seven-eighths-inch wall is the entree pasta format: enough volume for a full portion of linguine with sauce, and enough width that the strands lie out rather than coiling into a ball.

The shallow angle lets a fork reach the base without the diner chasing food up a steep side. It doubles as a large salad bowl or a main-course grain bowl. Set against the VS-708 it adds an inch of diameter and a third again as much volume. Magnesia-bodied chinaware under a full glaze, bone white, a dozen to the case.
