Yanco VS-508 Versailles Chinaware 8-3/4" x 3" Ramen Noodle Bowl 48 oz, Bone White — Case of 12 (1 dz)
Forty-eight ounces in an eight-and-three-quarter-inch bowl with a three-inch wall is a proper ramen format: enough broth to cover a portion of noodles with room for a soft egg, chashu and greens on top. The width matters as much as the volume, because toppings are meant to be arranged across the surface rather than buried.
Set against the VS-509 it trades half an inch of depth for a quarter inch of extra diameter, giving a shallower, wider presentation. It also handles pho, udon and a large portion of soup. Magnesia-bodied chinaware, fully glazed, one dozen to the case.
