Yanco VS-109 Versailles Chinaware 9" x 1/2" Round Plate, Bone White — Case of 24 (2 dz)
Nine inches is the lunch round - a sandwich with fries, a composed salad, a breakfast plate of eggs and toast - and it carries a mid-weight portion without the rim crowding it. A half-inch profile keeps the weight down for servers carrying three up an arm.
Set against the ten-and-a-half-inch VS-110 the rim is narrower, so portions read as generous rather than lost on the surface. Banquet kitchens use this diameter for a plated salad course ahead of the main. Bone white chinaware with a magnesia body, fully glazed, built for the cadence of a commercial dish machine, two dozen to the case.
