The UN-605 is a small oval bowl, 5-1/4 by 4-1/2 inches and 2-1/8 inches deep, holding 7 ounces. Yanco lists it as a fruit bowl and that is the job it does: stewed fruit, a scoop of compote, yoghurt with berries, a side of pickles or olives, or a nut service at the bar.

The oval footprint tucks alongside a plate where a round bowl of the same volume would push the cover out of line.
