Yanco SN-214 Sentry Melamine 14" x 10" x 1-1/4" Oval Platter, White and Black — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Fourteen by ten inches is catering scale: a carving dish, a buffet riser, a shared centre piece for a table of six. A 1-1/4 inch wall gives a loose pile of food somewhere to sit instead of sliding off the oval platter in transit.

Melamine earns its keep at this size. A china platter with the same footprint needs two hands and a careful walk; this one weighs a fraction of that and shrugs off a knock against a doorframe. Banquet and off-premise crews pack them a dozen to a case and run them hard through a season.
