Yanco SN-212 Sentry Melamine 12" x 8-1/2" x 1-1/8" Oval Platter, White and Black — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Twelve inches long and 8-1/2 across, with the wall raised to 1-1/8 inch, this oval platter crosses from plate into serving ware. It holds a whole roast chicken, a family-style portion of vegetables, or a tray of hors d'oeuvres passed through a room.

The raised wall is what makes the difference. On a dish that moves between tables, a flat edge lets juices escape; an inch and an eighth of upright melamine does not. Sentry's gradient runs the length of the oval, pale in the well and dark at the rim, framing whatever is piled in the middle. Twelve pieces to the case.
