Three inches square and an inch and five-eighths tall, the SH-403 sauce dish takes four ounces: soy, chilli oil, a vinaigrette, a dip portioned per diner rather than shared. The square footprint sits flat against the edge of a rectangular plate instead of rolling, which is the practical argument for square over round at this size.

Forty-eight pieces to a case is double the pack on the SH-408, and small dishes disappear into bus tubs at roughly that rate. Lion King carries a three-inch square dish in the same mould family as LK-303.
