Yanco RO-2705 Rockeye-2 Chinaware 5" x 1-3/4" Miso Soup Bowl 8 oz, White and Brown — Case of 36 (3 dz)

Eight ounces in a five-inch round that stands one and three-quarter inches high. Miso bowls are built to be lifted and drunk from, so the rim is finished to meet a lip and the diameter is set to span a palm. The relatively shallow wall for the volume means the broth presents a wide surface, which is how the aroma arrives before the first sip.

Place it to the left of a rice bowl in a Japanese cover; the two are dimensioned to sit side by side without overlapping on a standard tray. Textured outside for grip when hot, smooth inside so suspended miso does not catch in the glaze. Chinaware body, dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
