Yanco RO-2312 Rockeye-2 Chinaware 12" x 8-1/4" x 1-1/4" Oval Platter, White and Brown — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Twelve inches by eight and a quarter, with a wall of one and a quarter, this oval platter is sized for a main course that is long rather than round: a fillet, a rack, a row of skewers. The footprint matches the twelve-inch rectangular piece Rockeye runs, so the two cover the same job on a pass despite the different outline.

A quarter inch of extra wall over the ten-inch oval is what lets this one handle something wet-adjacent, a braise with a little reduction, without a rim too high to plate against. The pebbled texture stops short of the well so a knife has clean glaze to run on. Count twelve to the case when planning shelf depth. Chinaware body, dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
