Yanco RM-822 Rome Melamine 11-1/2" 4-COMPARTMENT Plate, Square, 1-1/2" Deep, White — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Eleven and a half inches square with four wells an inch and a half deep, the RM-822 is the squared-off take on compartment service. Square plates index neatly on a service line and in a warming cabinet, and the deeper wells here hold a saucier portion than the round version does before anything crosses a divider.

Depth where it counts

Half an inch of extra wall per compartment sounds small and is not: it is the difference between a curry that stays put and one that bleeds into the rice when a cart is pushed up a ramp. Melamine means the whole plate goes through a wash cycle in one go. A dozen arrive in one case, matched to a single serving line.
