Yanco RM-4109BK Rome Melamine 10" x 4"H Square Bowl 4 qt, Black — Case of 12 (1 dz)

A black four-quart square bowl on a white cloth does the work of a centrepiece without one being set. Ten inches across and four inches deep, the RM-4109BK takes a composed salad for a long table, a grain preparation, or crushed ice with a seafood display laid into it, and the dark interior hides the water line as ice goes down.

Why caterers reach for the dark one

Pale food reads strongly against black, so a buffet of grains, pasta and dressed greens gains separation when the vessels change colour rather than shape. This is the same mould as the white ten-inch square, so lids, racks and shelf plans carry over. A dozen in the case gives a mid-size event a full set with margin.
