Seven inches square with a two-inch wall and twenty-two ounces of capacity. An inch wider and a quarter-inch deeper than Rome's RM-306, which in portion terms is the step from a starter to a main: a full pasta serving, a rice bowl meal, a substantial salad.

The proportion stays plate-like at roughly three and a half to one, so it is eaten from with cutlery across the surface rather than scooped.
