Yanco RM-210BK Rome Melamine 10" x 6" Rectangular Plate, Black — Case of 24 (2 dz)

The black ten-by-six rectangle is a tasting plate. Kitchens use the long axis to sequence - a bite at each end and a sauce between them - and the dark ground gives a plated dessert or a raw fish course the contrast it needs to photograph.

Its long side measures exactly ten inches, which keeps it a plate rather than a serving piece. One inch of wall around the perimeter is enough for a gel or a jus. Melamine means the plate can go out to a terrace or a poolside bar where china is not allowed. Two dozen in a case.
