An oval bake bowl measuring 10-1/4 inches by 7-1/2 inches across with two inches of straight wall, shaped for a gratin, a baked pasta or a fruit cobbler that has to brown on top and still hold sauce underneath. The oval footprint gives a browned surface room to spread while the depth keeps liquid off the oven floor. A rolled rim gives the runner somewhere to grip through a side towel, and the piece travels from oven to table without an underliner, which saves a step on a busy pass.

This is the Recovery piece shaped to go under a broiler and come back out, so a baked entree can be portioned, held cold and fired to order.
