A ten-and-a-half by three-and-a-half-inch tray with three two-inch spoons that seat into it, each holding two ounces. The format turns a tasting flight into one carried object: three sauces, three amuse portions, three shots of soup, lifted and set down as a unit.

Spoon bowls come out for filling and washing, and the recesses stop them rolling in transit. At two ounces a spoon the portions are deliberately small, which is what makes this a tasting piece rather than a service one. Bone white chinaware throughout, tray and spoons alike.
