Yanco PS-2014 Piscataway Chinaware 14-1/2" x 9-1/2" 3-Compartment Plate, Bone White — Case of 12 (1 dz)

The large rectangular three-compartment plate, 14-1/2" by 9-1/2" and 1-1/2" deep. Compartment pieces are protected functional names and stay plates at any footprint, so size does not move this one into the platter family.

Deeper wells than the 12" and the 10-1/4" versions make it the one to reach for when a side is wet: a braise with its liquor, a stew, a curry with rice held apart from it. At fourteen and a half inches it also works as a single-plate meal tray for institutional service, and the raised divisions keep a portion in place when the plate is carried on a flat hand.
