Eleven and three quarter inches long by 7-3/4" across. Past the ten-inch line, so a platter. This is the middle oval of the Piscataway serving run and the size that handles a shared starter or a plated entree with length to it, a whole fish, a rack portion, a row of stuffed shells.

An inch of wall is enough to hold a thin sauce in place while keeping the profile low and stackable. It gains a little over an inch of length and half an inch of waist on the 10-5/8" oval, which in practice is the difference between one portion and two sharing.
