Twelve inches long by 8-1/4" wide, which puts it past the ten-inch line and makes it a platter. The oval coupe face has no rim shelf, so the whole surface is plating area, and the 1-1/4" wall is enough to catch a jus or a dressing without the piece behaving like a bowl.

This is a two-to-three-portion serving oval: a whole grilled branzino, three or four chicken thighs, a sliced flank steak fanned along its length. Compared with the 10" x 7" coupe oval, which stays a plate, this one adds two inches of reach and an inch and a quarter of waist, enough to carry a shared course.
