Eleven and a half inches with a two-inch wall and a nine-ounce well, which is unusually large for something catalogued as a dessert plate and in practice closer to a wide coupe plate: a plated sweet with sauce, a dessert tasting of several components, or a cheese course laid out in a ring. The shallow well holds a creme anglaise or a coulis without letting it reach the edge.

Against the PR-411 pasta bowl it is a quarter inch wider and an eighth of an inch deeper, yet holds three ounces less. Chinaware; dishwasher and microwave safe.
