Fifty ounces is the largest capacity in the Porto pattern and 3-1/8 inches the deepest wall, which makes this the serving bowl as much as the eating bowl: a shared noodle course, a family-style curry, rice for four, or a heap of salad in the middle of the table.

At 9-3/4 inches across it is almost the diameter of the PR-110 dinner plate but with three inches of sidewall instead of one. Nothing else here holds as much. Only this and the PR-508 among the Porto bowls arrive in cartons of twelve; everything smaller comes in larger counts. Chinaware, dishwasher and microwave safe.
