An oval two-ounce bowl, four inches on the long axis and a shade over three across, with sides standing an inch and five-eighths. The oval is functional: olives, cornichons, almonds and capers all sit better in a long dish than in a round one, and the depth keeps brine where it belongs. Two ounces is one person's portion rather than a shared bowl. Yanco's own product title names it an olive bowl, and the shape says the same thing. Three dozen in the carton puts it in the pack class of the small plates, about the right ratio for a bar sending one out with every drink.
