Yanco BL-515 Blue Star Chinaware 15-7/8" x 5-1/2" x 5/8" Rectangular Platter, Dark Blue — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Nearly sixteen inches long and five and a half wide, this is the longest rectangle Blue Star makes and the one built for a run of food rather than a portion of it: a whole fillet, a dozen canapes end to end, a sushi boat without the boat. At five-eighths of an inch it is as shallow as the pattern gets, which is rather the point, since nothing should compete with what sits on it. Twelve to a carton. Only the sixteen and a half inch leaf platter is longer, and that one curves where this one runs dead straight.
