Twelve by 7-1/2 inches with a one inch wall, this is the broad rectangle of Peacock's sushi group. Yanco's own catalogue name for it is sushi plate, and that trade name holds regardless of the length.

At 7-1/2 inches across it is wider than the other three rectangles in the group, which measure 6, 5-1/4 and 4 inches, so it takes two parallel rows of nigiri, or a roll plus a dish of ginger and wasabi alongside.

The flat field and squared corners also suit a cheese flight, a dessert trio or an amuse presentation.
