A 15 ounce onion soup crock with a cast side handle, brown glazed, 5-1/4 inches across and 2-1/4 inches deep. The handle is the difference from the 12 ounce crocks: a server can set it down without a towel wrap, and it can go onto a board or an underliner at an angle that shows the browned cheese.

Three extra ounces over the OS-12 crocks is enough to turn an appetizer portion into a soup course with bread alongside. Brown outside means scorch marks and cheese residue stay invisible on a station that runs the salamander all night. Two dozen in a carton; bright white is stocked as OS-15-P. The glaze and body are rated for the same direct oven heat as the shallower crocks.
