The bright white cut of the 12 ounce onion soup crock, 4-1/4 inches by 2-1/4 inches. White is the choice when the crock has to sit beside a white china service and not look like a visitor from the kitchen; it also shows the soup line clearly, so a cook can judge the fill level at a glance.

The body is the same heavy chinaware as the brown and two-tone versions, rated for the oven heat it takes to brown a cheese cap.
