Yanco OR-9302 Orchis Melamine 3-1/2" x 2-1/2"H Tea Cup Orchis 8 oz, Tan — Case of 48 (4 dz)

The OR-9302 is the wider of the two Orchis tea cups: three and a half inches across the mouth and two and a half inches tall, holding eight ounces. The broad shallow shape cools tea faster, which suits a cup poured at the table and drunk straight away rather than nursed.

Eight ounces is a standard cup rather than a mug portion. Four dozen in a box covers a tea service for a mid sized room with spares left over. The melamine body shrugs off the chipping cups take at the rim, which is the usual reason a venue retires ceramic long before it wears out.
