Yanco OR-2412 Orchis Melamine 11" x 8" Rectangular Ripple Platter, Tan — Case of 36 (3 dz)

The ripple edge begins at eleven by eight inches. Instead of a flat rim the OR-2412 has a gently waved perimeter that catches light and breaks up the long straight line a rectangle usually presents. At seven eighths of an inch it is the shallowest of the three rippled rectangles.

Eleven inches of length makes it a sharing platter for a kitchen that prefers a rectangle in the middle of the table, and the shallow profile keeps the food reading as the tallest thing on it. Three dozen come in a box, a count it shares with the thirteen inch ripple. Melamine holds the waved edge crisply where thin china would be fragile.
