Twenty-two inches by eighteen makes this turkey platter the largest piece in the whole Olive collection, and the only oval in it. It is built for one job: a whole bird, brought out intact with stuffing and roast vegetables arranged around it, or a bone-in ham or a standing rib on a carving station.

The quarter-over-an-inch well catches the juices that come off a resting roast, which is the difference between a serving oval and a flat board. Melamine takes the weight of a twenty-pound turkey without the heft a china oval of this span would add, so one person can bring it to the table.
