Forty-two ounces in a 9-3/4 by 7-1/2 inch rectangle, a full three inches deep: the largest of Osaka's four rectangular bowls and the deepest of them by a quarter inch. It carries a composed salad for a table of four, a bulk noodle service, or a dressed slaw on a buffet line.

A case holds two dozen. At three inches deep it holds enough liquid that weight becomes the design problem, and the extra heavy weight melamine body is specified for exactly that, so a filled vessel can be lifted by the rim without flexing. Rounded internal corners, flat stable base, white throughout. Dishwasher safe and break-resistant.
