Yanco OC-9305 Ocean Chinaware 3" x 4"H Tea Cup 9 oz, White and Blue — Case of 36 (3 dz)

Ocean's tea cup holds nine ounces in a tall narrow body: three inches across the mouth, four inches of height. The proportion is deliberate, because tea cools slowly in a cup shaped this way and the narrow opening holds the aroma over the surface instead of letting it off into the room.

It is also the tallest item in the pattern, which gives the faded blue band at the rim an unusual prominence. On a flat plate that same edge treatment reads as a border; here it sits at the drinker's eye. Thirty-six ship in a carton, enough to cover a full service without a second order.
