Eight by five and a half inches with square corners, the OC-308 is the smallest of Ocean's three rectangular plates. Seven-eighths of an inch of depth contains a small sauce without the piece reading as a dish. Rectangles plate differently from rounds: straight edges let a server line items up rather than arrange them, which is why these appear under sushi, charcuterie and amuse courses.

Three dozen go in a carton. It matches the eight-inch oval for length while running an eighth of an inch narrower and an eighth deeper, so the pair make a deliberate contrast when both are on one table.
