Six wells on a thirteen-inch rectangular plate, carrying a main, three sides, a dessert and a condiment without a second dish. Tan keeps it from reading as school equipment.

The rectangle is the point. A round divided plate wastes the corners of a cafeteria tray; this one reaches into them. Wells run an inch deep, enough to keep gravy off the pudding while the tray moves. Because the whole thing is moulded as one body there are no joints to harbour food, and melamine absorbs the tray-return abuse that would chip a ceramic equivalent within a term.
