Tan, round, three sections, and a fraction wider than the other shallow divided plate in the Nessico collection. The difference sits in the outer band, not in the wells, so a kitchen can swap between the two without re-portioning anything.

Width earns its keep when plates are stacked wet. A broader edge means two plates sit on each other's rims instead of settling into the wells, so water drains away instead of pooling in the middle section. Tan is the finish chosen when a divided plate has to sit on linen without looking like hospital issue. The divisions are three-quarters of an inch deep, which suits dry plating; saucy dishes belong on the deep Nessico divided round. Cases contain twenty-four.
