Yanco NS-702Y Nessico Melamine 10" 3-COMPARTMENT Plate, Yellow — Case of 24 (2 dz)

A bright yellow plate, ten inches across, with three shallow sections. Schools buy this one in volume because it survives being thrown into a tray return and because a yellow plate is easy to count at the end of service when something has gone astray.

The divisions are moulded three-quarters of an inch down, which will keep chips apart from salad but will not contain a sauce. For anything wet, the deeper Nessico divided round is the sensible pick. Here the point is speed and storage: a flat plate is quicker to wipe, quicker to rack and quicker to put away. It arrives twenty-four to a case and takes years of institutional washing without fading.
