Yanco NS-516W Nessico Melamine 15-1/2" x 10-3/4" Oval Platter W/NARROW Rim, White — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Fifteen and a half by ten and three-quarter inches gives this the largest serving surface in the Nessico collection. In white it is the default catering platter: a neutral field that suits any cuisine, reorders to the same shade years later, and sits beside white porcelain without looking like a substitute for it.

Thickness is the detail to notice, a quarter inch more body than the smaller ovals, which is what stops something of this length bowing when it is lifted at one end with food on it. A dozen to a case is the right quantity for an operation that sets a buffet rather than one that cooks to order.
