Yanco NS-516T Nessico Melamine 15-1/2" x 10-3/4" Oval Platter W/NARROW Rim, Tan — Case of 12 (1 dz)

The full-size banquet oval: fifteen and a half inches long, ten and three-quarters wide, and a quarter inch thicker in the body than the thirteen-inch platters so it holds its shape under a heavy load. Tan is the standard finish for this piece in catering stock, where a warm neutral reads as a serving vessel rather than as tableware.

Scale changes the job. Something this long is not passed around a table, it is set down on a station and worked from. That means hours in view, repeated contact from serving utensils, and a need to come clean fast between refills, all of which argue for melamine over china at this size.
